Welcome to My New Blog Page
Welcome to my new blog page, Sarah Barnaby Fine Arts. I have made some changes in the subject matter I am now painting. I am still producing some of the lovely Caribbean themes but I have also added surrealistic themes to my portfolio. One of my favorite new paintings is "Water Bed". This one painting I thoroughly enjoyed producing. The thoughts behind the surrealistic themes is to see what ambiguities work where. I was attracted to the bed used for the model by the wrought iron leaves on the canopy. By adding a sunset and changing the wrought iron to cypress trees, I have a sunset serenity.
Other new themes include an unique portrayal of the Wars of the Roses, a fascinating era in English history, and a new twist on views of the tropics.
I still have and still produce the wonderful Caribbean themes, which are now in Art Affair Gallery in Sanford, Florida. I am also showing with master artist Toelle Hovan and Peach Gazda, a new and inspiring up and coming artist, at James Harper Fine Arts Gallery in Ormond Beach, Florida. I hope you all will be able to come see what we have in store.
